Thallus foliose, closely to loosely adnate, c. 4 cm wide, 20–50 µm thick, bluish leaden grey. Lobes rotund to oblong, ±undulate, 2–5 mm wide; margins undulate-crispate, ±lobulate. Upper surface finely wrinkled, matt, ±pustulate, older parts lobulate; isidia absent; lobules rotund to oblong, ±branched; wrinkles closely anastomosing. Lower surface not lobulate; rhizines minute or absent. Apothecia small; disc concave, red brown; thalline exciple elevated, subfimbriate–crenulate, pale. Ascospores fusiform, ellipsoidal, submuriform, to 20 × 8 µm; apices attenuate, one apex more so. Pycnidia ±submarginal. Conidia 3–4 µm long; apices not swollen. | ||
Known from bark in Christmas Is, and NE Qld; endemic. | ||
